November Bake Sale | Toronto

Written by Alex Wichert on November 18th, 2016

On November 16th, the University of Toronto Trek for Teens Club hosted an on-campus bakesale in Sidney Smith Hall. Students enjoyed delicious, homemade baked goods while supporting Toronto’s homeless youth communities. The event was a success, raising over $200 over the course of the afternoon!

Trek for Teens would like to thank everyone who stopped by the booth and helped the cause. The organization would like to extend a special thank you to Metro for its support.

What is the Trek for Teens Foundation?

The Toronto Trek for Teens, or T3 for short, is a charitable project set up by youth, for youth. The trek itself consists of a team-oriented race which takes place in downtown Toronto every Spring. Teams of youth ages 13-19 solve problems and find hidden clues, working together to complete the course (much like the Amazing Race). Throughout the day, there are other ongoing festivities at and around Yonge-Dundas Square. Find out more about the Foundation.
