Movie Night | Kingston

Written by Anne Pham on December 5th, 2016

On November 17th at 8:30 PM the Queen’s University Trek for Teens Club hosted a Movie Night to raise awareness for homeless youth. To celebrate the positive impact of giving back to a community and changing lives, the Blind Side was chosen as the movie of the night.
The club also held a Donation Drive; in-kind donations were collected to benefit the Kingston Youth Shelter and to help spread some cheer throughout the holiday season.

What is the Trek for Teens Foundation?

The Toronto Trek for Teens, or T3 for short, is a charitable project set up by youth, for youth. The trek itself consists of a team-oriented race which takes place in downtown Toronto every Spring. Teams of youth ages 13-19 solve problems and find hidden clues, working together to complete the course (much like the Amazing Race). Throughout the day, there are other ongoing festivities at and around Yonge-Dundas Square. Find out more about the Foundation.
