November Concert | Toronto

Written by Anne Pham on December 5th, 2016

Live music, fresh coffee, and lots of great talent – that’s what you would have found at the Trek for Teens November Concert!

On November 26th, the Toronto Trek for Teens hosted the first concert in its 2016-2017 Concert Series. The event took place at U of T’s Hart House and featured some amazing performers, including Brandon Vuong, Down The Void, Violets & Viruses, The New Birds of America, City Circuits, Collin Clowes and The Heavy Jack 3.

A huge thank you goes out to the volunteers, performers, and everyone who came out to support the show. The event raised over $490 for homeless youth and all donations went to Covenant House Toronto, Horizons for Youth, and Youth Without Shelter.

What is the Trek for Teens Foundation?

The Toronto Trek for Teens, or T3 for short, is a charitable project set up by youth, for youth. The trek itself consists of a team-oriented race which takes place in downtown Toronto every Spring. Teams of youth ages 13-19 solve problems and find hidden clues, working together to complete the course (much like the Amazing Race). Throughout the day, there are other ongoing festivities at and around Yonge-Dundas Square. Find out more about the Foundation.
