<p>The Trek for Teens Foundation’s dance competition is an opportunity for dancers in the GTA to help raise funds and awareness for homeless youth, and showcase their dance skills to the world. The competition will feature solos, duets/trios, small groups, large groups and extended lines of dancers.</p>
<h2>Important Information</h2>
<p>All dances are scored by a panel of judges; the judges award each dance an award level. The award levels are as follows: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, and Diamond. The top three scores receive prizes.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>What is it?</h2>
<p>The Toronto Trek for Teens Race, or T3 for short, is a team-oriented race which takes place in downtown Toronto in May every year. Teams of youth aged 13-19 are required to solve problems and find hidden clues, working together in order to successfully complete the course (much like the “Amazing Race”).</p>
<h2>Am I eligible?</h2>
<p>To be eligible to participate in the race, one must:</p>
<ol>
<li>be 13-19 years old</li>
<li>have a team of three to five members</li>
<li>pledge a minimum amount of $30 per participant</li>
</ol>

<h2>Important Information</h2>
<p>All teams must register by April 1, 2012 in order to compete. Teams can register online by completing our <a title="Registration Form" href="https://phuse.wufoo.com/forms/toronto-trek-for-teens-participant-form/">registration form</a>.</p>
<p>In order to complete the registration process, all team members must have submitted a minimum of $30 in pledge donations per team member by April 1, 2012. Registered teams may present any additional pledges at the pre-race registration period, where teams receive official passports, shirts and additional race information.</p>

<h2>What happens to the proceeds?</h2>
<p>As with all Trek for Teens Foundation events, the proceeds go directly to charities that help homeless youth in Toronto get off the streets and find stability in their lives.</p>
